Mark Fell & Will Guthrie ‎– Infoldings

The debut release from Japanese label Nakid is an album for our times: unstable, percussive, relentless, somewhat a-tonal (but not tone deaf), electronic music that is inspired by traditions of Indonesian and Southern Indian music. From Mark Fell and Will Guthrie come sounds that are a fervent departure from quantization, and were created through edits from iterations of call-and-response between Fell’s rhythmic patterns and Guthrie’s overdubs.
