Our friend Aki Goto and the Shirotento Orchestra will perform a new, participatory work: “Genderqueer’s Day” upstate on April 5, 2019. Happening right between Japan’s established “girl’s day” (3/3) and “boy’s day” (5/5), the work celebrates the power, freedom and beauty beyond this binary.
