Elektron Octatrack Skill Share w/ Phil Moffa

Phil Moffa returns to Commend after October’s popular skill share: Mixing Board Basics & Wiring The Beatmaker’s Studio. For this skill share, Phil will walk us through the process of creating a live set on the famed Octatrack sampler/sequencer. Learn how to take existing songs from your catalog and prep them for the stage; create parts for improvisation; and set up your rig with the Octatrack as the centerpiece connected to a mixer, effects, and MIDI-capable equipment.

Suggested donation of $20 will be used to purchase art supplies for City-As-School’s MAD Academy which teaches Music, Art and Design at the West Village high school.
