We are delighted to host Liverpool-based producer, journalist, events organizer and researcher Kepla – aka Jon Davies – at Commend. Over the last decade Davies has facilitated public discourse around music, art and politics in Liverpool, including a workshop at The Liverpool Biennial and a talk at Rewire Festival. Over the last few years he has collaborated with media theorist DeForrest Brown, Jr. on PTP releases Absent Personae and The Wages Of Being Black Is Death. Please join us for a live improvisational durational set at our space on Sunday, May 12.
